Our client is currently looking for a Yard Supervisor to join their team and help manage the daily operations of their busy yard. As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site, driving safety standards, and supporting the development of your team. You will also be a hands on 360 operator, leading by example and driving safety standards also.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all team members working in the Recycling Yard and aggregates yard.

Ensure Health and Safety standards are consistently adhered to.

Maintain excellent site housekeeping standards.

Participate in training programs and deliver toolbox talks to your team.

Conduct daily briefing meetings to align the team on goals and tasks.

Develop strong relationships with other departments to ensure customer expectations are met.

Liaise with the workshop and managers for plant repairs and scheduled maintenance.

Monitor and approve incoming waste and handle non-conforming waste as needed, escalating when required.
