Yard Supervisor

YARD SUPERVISOR - STEEL�

Our client is a leading provider of temporary access solutions to major infrastructure projects across the UK.�

Due to expansion, our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to support the Yard Manager in managing their small but expanding site based near Maltby.

The Role:

As the Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising all yard activities, including managing the incoming and outgoing equipment. You will ensure that operations run safely and efficiently, coordinating with site teams and ensuring equipment is ready and available for use.�

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate yard activities, including the loading, unloading, and dispatching of equipment�


• Ensure the safe storage and maintenance of all equipment and tools


• Liaise with site managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of equipment to project locations


• Conduct inspections and ensure all equipment is compliant with health and safety regulations


• Maintain accurate records of stock, deliveries, and equipment movements


• Conduct regular checks to ensure equipment is safe, operational, and properly maintained


• Visiting site as required to supprt deliveries, collections and construction

Requirements:

• CPCS Crane Supervisor�


• Experience in steel erecting�


• Full UK driving licence


• Strong organisational skills


• Excellent communication skills

Working hours are Monday-Friday, 9-5 (some flexibility may be required). Benefits include a car allowance/company car, holiday allowance of 25 days + stats, company pension and opportunities for further training.

This is a small yard and travel to sites will be part of the role. Expenses will be paid for time out.�
