Yard & Waste Management Team Leader (Nights)

Urgently required an experience team leader to join our client in their Yard and Waste Management areas.

Main duties will be to support the Supervisors in all waste and yard management activities, to include:-

• Ensuring all staff are following procedures as necessary, conducting return to work meetings
• To look after the baling and compactor duties
• To oversee and assist with all outside FLT duties (must hold an in date Counterbalance Licence)
• To oversee and assist with safe stacking of full bales of waste cardboard/plastics ready for collection & load onto lorry
• To drive and handle all MHE equipment in a respectful, controlled, and safe manner ensuring they are sufficiently charged, and all start up documents are filled in correctly.
• Ensure all machinery start up checks are completed, and any defects reported to area Team Leader/Supervisor

Candidates interested in this role must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and must have worked in a Team Leader / Supervisory role previously. Candidates must have varied experience of operating all types of MHE

Hours of work are 5pm to 5am - with a shift rota in place - dependant on the peak and off peak seasons.
