Year 1 Teacher - April to December
Location: WA8, Widnes

A well-established primary school in Widnes (WA8) is looking for a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team from April to December. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons - Create creative and interactive lessons tailored to Year 1 students.
  • Build Confidence in Young Learners - Encourage curiosity and independence through effective teaching strategies.
  • Monitor Student Progress - Assess and track development to ensure both academic and social growth.
  • Collaborate with Staff - Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to maintain a structured and positive classroom environment.
  • Engage with Parents - Establish strong relationships with parents and caregivers to support student learning.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1, is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Two references from the last five years, including one safeguarding reference.
