Job Description

This is a welcoming and inclusive primary school committed to providing a high-quality education for all pupils. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a mixed-age class, delivering an engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. This role begins April 2025.

Duties as a Year 3/4 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for both Year 3 and Year 4 pupils.
  • \n
  • Differentiate learning to ensure all pupils make progress, regardless of ability.
  • \n
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • \n
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children’s learning and development.
  • \n
  • Promote high standards of behaviour and engagement in learning.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
  • \n

Ideal Year 3/4 Teacher:

    \n
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • \n
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (desirable but not essential).
  • \n
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring young learners.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities as a Year 3/4 Teacher.
  • \n
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • \n
