Job Description

This school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love for learning. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum

  • \n
  • Support and challenge pupils to reach their full potential in a nurturing environment

  • \n
  • Assess and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents

  • \n
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and creativity

  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance pupil development

  • \n
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities

  • \n

Ideal Year 3 Teacher:

    \n
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • \n
  • Experience teaching in KS2, preferably Year 3 (ECTs welcome to apply)

  • \n
  • Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for all pupils

  • \n
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Year 3 Teacher.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all children
