Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support individual development.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources, ensuring a cohesive teaching approach.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress and strategies for home support.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, encouraging positive attitudes and teamwork.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils through tailored interventions.
• Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and school events to contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential, with experience teaching Key Stage 2 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities to manage planning, assessment, and reporting effectively.
• Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
