Flourish Education are seeking a Year 4 Teacher to work in a Good Rated, larger sized Primary School in Oldbury. This school is committed to providing a happy, safe and secure learning environment for all within the school environment.

Our client is seeking a Year 4 Teacher who can plan, prepare and deliver creative and engaging lessons to a Year 4 class. As this school is a larger form entry, the planning would be shared between the Year 4 class teacher. This school is offering a unique opportunity for ECTs where they would be happy to support 2 terms of the induction for the right individual.

This is a full-time, long-term position starting after Christmas and is continuing until the end of the academic year.

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will:


  • Take full class responsibilities, including planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Support a seamless transition for pupils before Christmas.
  • Engage and motivate students with innovative Key Stage 2 (KS2) teaching strategies.
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management to create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff and parents to support student progress.

We are looking for a Year 4 Teacher who has:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and KS2.
  • Proven experience as a Primary Teacher with exceptional behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a love of learning in pupils.
  • Availability to take on a full class teaching role, including planning and marking.

Working as a Year 4 Teacher with Flourish Education offers you:


  • £162.31 to £223.63 per day, equating to £31,650 to £43,607 per annum based on a full school year.
