What You'll Do as a Year 4 Teacher with Middle Leadership:

  • Inspire Learning: Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge Year 4 pupils, encouraging them to achieve their best.
  • Lead with Purpose: Take on middle leadership responsibilities, focusing on curriculum development or a specific area of school improvement.
  • Drive Progress: Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring all children receive the support and challenge they need to thrive.
  • Foster Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, mentoring and supporting them in their professional growth.
  • Contribute to Leadership: Collaborate with the SLT to implement school-wide strategies and initiatives.


What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in KS2 teaching, ideally Year 4.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire both pupils and colleagues.
  • Confidence in taking on middle leadership responsibilities, such as leading a subject area or school initiative.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
