Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Inspire and motivate pupils to reach their full potential through creative teaching
Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel supported and valued
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing feedback to ensure growth
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cohesive learning experiences
Encourage pupils to develop independent learning skills, fostering curiosity and confidence
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
Holds QTS and is passionate about working with children
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 5 (or a similar age group)
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
Is creative, dynamic, and able to deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Is a team player, willing to collaborate and contribute to the wider school community
Has strong organisational and communication skills as a Year 5 Teacher.
