Year 6 Primary Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated professional to join a fantastic Primary School in the Ashton area, working with the Year 6 class.

Position: Primary Teaching Assistant Location: Ashton area Year Group: Year 6 (Upper KS2)

About the Role: We are looking for a seasoned candidate who is assured and confident in working with upper Key Stage 2 students. You will be supporting the class teacher, helping to create a stimulating learning environment, and providing targeted assistance to students to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Year 6 teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Support individual students and small groups with their learning
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Contribute to the planning and preparation of activities
• Provide feedback to students and help with assessments

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a primary school, specifically with upper KS2
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
• A passion for education and helping students succeed
