What We Are Looking For:


  • A passionate, creative, and innovative Year 6 Teacher who is committed to helping children reach their full potential.
  • Strong subject knowledge, especially in key areas such as English, Maths, and Science.
  • An ability to differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • A great communicator who can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively and share ideas.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons across all subjects in Year 6.
  • Ensure pupils are well-prepared for the end-of-year SATs and the transition to secondary school.
  • Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued.
  • Work closely with parents to keep them informed about their child’s progress and well-being.
  • Be an active member of our school community, participating in school events, meetings, and extra-curricular activities.

Essential Criteria:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in primary education, preferably in Key Stage 2
  • Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, and Science
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach to personal and professional development
  • A passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives
