Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons across all subjects in Year 6.
- Ensure pupils are well-prepared for the end-of-year SATs and the transition to secondary school.
- Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued.
- Work closely with parents to keep them informed about their child’s progress and well-being.
- Be an active member of our school community, participating in school events, meetings, and extra-curricular activities.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in primary education, preferably in Key Stage 2
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, and Science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach to personal and professional development
- A passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives
