Young People Support Officer

Rocasa Consulting are looking for an experienced support officer to join a team in the Guildford area. The role includes supporting young people and young parents who are living in supported accommodation. The clients are in supported accommodation due to being at risk of homelessness. You will be supporting clients based around the Guildford, Waverly and Woking. Therefore a driving licence is essential.�

Responsibilties:�

- Supporting young adults aged between 16-24 year olds who are at risk of homelessness�

- Working 1-1 with clients helping�them to gain independence through advising�with benefits and sustaining their tenancies.�

- Organising recreational activities for the young people

- Keeping notes and records of progression and behaviours of young people�

- Signposting clients to other support services that may useful�

- Adhering to all safeguarding policies and support plans�

About you:�

- expereince working with young people�

- experience in housing support�

- experience in�beneift support�

- drivers' licence�

- knowledge of safeguarding�
