Contract Details:

• Position: Youth Engagement Lead
• Contract Duration: 12-month interim
• Day Rate: �300-�400 per day
• Location: Chesterfield
• Working Pattern: Full-time, hybrid; some travel for events may be required

About the Role:
As the Youth Engagement Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the Youth Guarantee Trailblazer Programme. You will:

• Collaborate closely with our Youth Committee and regional youth forums to gather invaluable feedback.
• Champion the voices of young people, ensuring their perspectives shape our services and initiatives.
• Empower young individuals to actively contribute to decisions that impact their lives and futures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead dynamic youth engagement efforts that inspire and mobilise.
• Foster strong relationships with young people, facilitating their ongoing involvement.
• Coordinate and support youth-led initiatives, creating a platform for their ideas and projects.
• Innovate creative strategies to involve young people in programme activities and decision-making processes.
• Serve as an ambassador for youth engagement, highlighting the importance of their involvement in community work.

About You:
We're looking for a passionate individual with:

• Proven experience in working with youth groups, driving meaningful engagement.
• A deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people and how to support their involvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport across diverse backgrounds.
• A creative, solutions-focused mindset to tackle youth engagement challenges.
• The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of youth policy and engagement strategies is a plus!
